Global Land Tool Network

A summary of tried and tested diet and physical activity interventions that aim to reduce the risk of chronic NCDs. In terms of UTP, interventions in the following categories are included: policy, environment, workplace, schools, mass media, the community, primary health care, older adults and religious settings. Good for public health promotion – diet and physical activity interventions to reduce the risk of chronic NCDs. Outlines interventions that use existing community social structures, such as schools or weekly meetings of older adults. Useful for policy-makers and stakeholders.
