Designing and Implementing Street-Led Citywide Slum Upgrading Programmess: A Training Module Companion

This training module introduces a practical strategy for improvement of streets through citizen participation as a strategic spatial intervention for citywide slum upgrading. The approach fosters incremental improvement of the physical and socioeconomic conditions in slums and informal settlements and promotes urban regeneration, transformation and their integration into the overall city planning agenda. Especially useful for a wide range of actors and decision-makers, including public health practitioners.
