This briefing includes an overview of a study which examined current solid waste management policies in Kenya and the extent to they integrated health as well as how the policies were addressing health outcomes. Policies priorities and strategies on solid waste management since Kenya's indepence were examined. The authors also studied how health was integrated across different issues and sectors.
