This document is part of WHO’s Health in the green economy series. It describes how many climate change measures can be “win-wins” for people and the planet. These policies can yield large, immediate public health benefits while reducing the upward trajectory of greenhouse gas emissions. The document is very comprehensive with case studies, and applicable to all countries. As well as plenty of background material, it outlines health benefits of transport-related greenhouse gas reduction strategies. It is useful for the health community.
